Dynasty Warriors 6 looks poised to breathe new life into a franchise many had derided as stale, and incapable of innovation. While not every change has been positive, the series was in desperate need of a fresh start, and now, in its sixth major iteration, it has one. Time will tell if the massive changes are well received by the core fan base of this series, but if nothing else, Koei must be given respect for having the guts to change virtually everything about its flagship title.
