    The new DLC pack for Saints Row 2 is surprisingly similar to the last DLC pack for Saints Row 2. They're both fairly short, with this one taking about an hour to do the story missions, they both have a meta game with limited usefulness, this time it's a co-op stunt diversion and they both shower the player with tons of cash for completing the story missions only this time you get unlimited rocket ammo to go along with your 150,000 bucks. And, just like last time, the rewards of the DLC, namely the money and ammo, is pretty much useless if you've completed the main game's missions and activities.

    The one benefit this DLC has over the previous version is that it gives you some inkling into what Saints Row 3 might entail. After working with an Ultor executive to thwart Dex's plans for selling stolen toxic waste Dex flees Stilwater, leaving your character none too happy about it. Sure, it ends with the same ambiguity that the last DLC pack did, but at least you can see how this one might lead into the next sequel, unless you really thought that Saints Row 3 would be about Tera Patrick's thirst for vengeance.

    Along with the new missions, new clothing and new vehicles is the co-op stunt diversion. If you and your co-op partner are in separate vehicles, performing a driving stunt to silver star status or better will give you the option of starting the co-op stunt diversion. Your partner now has two minutes to best your stunt and you then have two minutes to best their besting. Whoever wins three rounds first takes the prize and gets 500 bucks. It's an intersting diversion in theory, but it's hard to tell what stunts will allow you to start the diversions. Driving in oncoming traffic did, popping a wheelie didn't. If you're just goofing around in co-op, it's something to do, but it's not entertaining enough, nor does it give enough money out to be useful on a regular basis.

    Finally, just like in the last DLC pack, the notion of value rears it's ugly head. Value is a tough thing to base a review on, and certainly the drop in price from ten bucks to seven makes this a cheaper pack, but it also takes you less time to complete, and is porn star free, so I think it's a wash. Honestly, had both packs been bundled together for ten bucks, I'd think nothing of buying it. As it stands now, having to spend almost twenty bucks for both of them, when you consider what 20 bucks got you in "Lost and Damned"? Yeah, not so much.
