Falling somewhere in between the AP Stylebook and Wired Style, The Videogame Style Guide provides professionals and aspiring authors hundreds of rules for grammar, spelling, usage, capitalization and abbreviation, along with tips and guidelines for producing polished, professional writing about all things gaming. Authors Kyle Orland, Scott Steinberg and David Thomas are seasoned industry writers: Thomas is a 20-year newspaper veteran and professor at the University of Colorado specializing in arts and technology - as well as the founder of the International Game Journalists Association . Orland began his career as a game enthusiasts, founding the popular Super Mario Bros. HQ. For nearly ten years he has been writing about varying aspects of the games industry for such publications as Electronic Gaming Monthly, GameSpot, The Escapist, Next Generation and Joystiq. Scott Steinberg is the author of Videogame Marketing and PR, and managing director of game industry advisory Embassy Multimedia Consultants.
