Rock Band Preview
We fight for our right to party--and get a hands-on preview Harmonix's wildly fun and evolutionary new music game.

It's certainly disappointing that Rock Band won't include online play through Word Tour mode, but considering the wealth of other content it offers it won't kill the experience. A robust track listing, along with new songs available for download shortly after release gives the game limitless potential. There are a bunch of small issues that still need to be ironed out before the game ships, such as differences between peripherals on PlayStation 3 versus Xbox 360 and the state of online competitive play; nevertheless, we're confident the core gameplay will bring the house down when it ships on November 20th.
