Battlefield: Bad Company Preview
Electronic Arts rolls the DICE by changing up its Battlefield franchise in this new console-only installment.
Date: Thursday, November 29, 2007
Author: Tracy Erickson

Equally as impressive as its free-form combat is the game's presentation; it gives the Xbox 360 hardware a good workout with richly detailed graphics and realistic sound effects. Explosions take a leading role, which is a good thing given how amazing they look. Plumes of smoke and brilliant red flames appear uncannily real. What's amazing is that it actually looks better than any previous installment, despite being a console exclusive. Hopefully the same can be said of its gameplay when Bad Company hits stores early next year.
