Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor Preview
Stardock prepares to close the book on this classic "4X" turn-based strategy series.
Date: Friday, April 04, 2008
Author: Troy S. Goodfellow

There is also going to be more user content this time around. Everything can be edited – tech trees, improvements, maps. You can even create your own scenarios. With Gal Civ II’s already thriving community making new ships and races it won’t be long before the internet is crawling with unofficial stories ripped from your favorite sci-fi universes.

More color, more variety, more story, new winning conditions, new music, and even a new "Immense" galaxy size – it’s an expansion pack all right. In all, Arnor seems to be moving the game to an end point. If Stardock delivers on everything it says it will, there won’t be much left to ask for.

Twilight of the Arnor sails out of Stardock later this month.
