Cloud admits, “It's a big game, there's lots of stuff going.” Quake Wars comes to consoles with gameplay that initially seems more intimidating than accessible. There's no denying the learning curve inherent with learning each of the character classes and familiarizing yourself with the game's controls. Once you've overcome that hurdle, though, it's a remarkably entertaining game packed with plenty of replay value and challenges. Much like Valve's Team Fortress 2, Quake Wars will likely grow on players as they become increasingly comfortable with the mechanics of its intricate gameplay.
