Warhammer Online Conference Call Preview
We get a fresh take on EA Mythic's upcoming MMO set in the Old World of Warhammer.

Warhammer Online has a level cap of 40, but rather than make it more or less end there the developers are trying to make it so that the end-game content is really where the game begins. Though leveling is relatively easy, gaining more and more renown is not and between those types of progression and the organic RvR campaign the developers seem to be on their way towards hitting their mark. End-game content is being geared so that all players will eventually get to experience it and not just an elite percentage of the player base. That being said it was also mentioned that while all players will get to the content skilled players who excel at their class will still be the ones on top.

Overall, during the conference call we learned a lot more about some of the nuts and bolts of the game, and heard a few fresh ideas in the way of guild progression and the RvR as a whole that helped make the game stand out even more than it previously had. The siege weapons sound like a great tactical addition to both sides of a capital city’s walls, which only build onto the anticipation as to seeing exactly what the RvR campaign will be like. In any case, all will be known by the fall 2008.
