E3 2008: Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility Preview
As a newcomer to Waffle Island, help the inhabitants and restore nature's magic.

As you become more comfortable on the island, you may just meet that special someone. Tree of Tranquility offers up to six marriageable characters. Naturally, once you’ve found Mr. or Ms. Right, wedding bells ring, followed by the sounds of a baby carriage. What’s great about Tree of Tranquility is that you can choose to end your original character’s story and start anew by playing as your own child. Your child will then inherit some of your skills and items (such as seeds), and even certain buildings.

Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility looks like a promising addition to the Harvest Moon series. It has the elements to draw in long-time Harvest Moon fans such as open-ended play, charming characters, and fun activities. At the same time, the interactive gameplay provided by the Wiimote adds a new level of realism and immersion to this beloved series.
