E3 2008: Wii Sports Resort Preview
Wii Sports goes on vacation...and then pulls out a broadsword.

I found that the enhanced motion detection provided by the WiiMotion Plus highly improves my gaming experience on the Wii. In Power Cruising, I only had to make minor corrections when steering. I also thought it was nice to see that when I moved, my Mii moved at the exact same time. I felt that I didn’t have to work nearly as hard for the motion sensor to pick up my movements.

Out of the three games, Sword Play wins hands down. After all, since the Wii first came out, everyone has been dreaming of the ability to sword fight with precise accuracy. Alas, many were disappointed when the Wiimote didn’t provide that, leaving many to be disappointed with their sword-based games (Red Steel anyone?).

The game isn’t slated until spring of next year and we’ll have more on it including a list of the additional mini games as it gets closer to release.
