E3 2008: Madden NFL 09 Preview
Madden is back for another go-round and we get a first hand look from the floor of E3.
Date: Thursday, July 24, 2008
Author: William Abner

Finally, the 20th anniversary edition will include a copy of the new version of NFL Head Coach, a create a play feature that can be imported into Madden, a copy of the old Madden ’93 with current rosters, and a list of Money Plays from Madden games of yesteryear…just for fun.

Madden 09 is going to sell millions of copies regardless of its press coverage, but for those looking for the franchise to take that next big step, we’ll have to see how the gameplay holds up after playing it for more than 15 minutes. One thing we do know: JaMarcus Russell throws the ball so hard you can barely see it. You want cannon arms in Madden—you got ‘em.
