Spore PAX Preview
Spore is almost upon us, and we get one last hands on spin at PAX.
Date: Tuesday, September 02, 2008
Author: Toni Dimayuga

I spent a little more time growing my creature and trying to keep him from harm’s way, but before I knew it, the demo was over and I was left begging for more. I tell you, this game will be deadly to one’s social life. You will become obsessed with tweaking your creature just the way you want it. You’ll spend a ridiculous amount of time mingling with the other player-created creatures you’ll start running into once you get to the Creature stage (including the naughty ones, if you uncheck your filters). You’ll get involved with the intricacies of creating a tribe and developing a society during the Tribal Stage. Finally, you’ll lose all track of time in the Space stage as you explore the universe.

Enjoy seeing the sunlight while you can -- Spore is almost here.
