Submit, or UFC 2009 Undisputed will knock some sense into you. We get a hands on look from the THQ media event.

Our hands on time with UFC 2009 Undisputed was simply fun enough that someone who’s completely oblivious to the sport could have a vicious, violent hoot. Whether they’ll stick around to learn the intricacies and nuances of the fighting system is questionable. It’s a ruthlessly brutal fighting game with extensive depth and a satisfying mix of fast-paced fisticuffs and methodical wrestling. And that’s exactly what it’s shooting for.

The realistic physics, gorgeous character models and absolutely fantastic animation are pretty impressive, and with 36 hours of announcer voice-overs and 80 familiar fighters (many of which boast signature special moves), the fan-service certainly piles up. But regardless of your interest in the sport you should be excited to throw down later this month when this remarkably strong UFC reboot takes a shot at the title.
