X-men Legends Walkthrough
Confront Magneto and save the earth from certain destruction.

X-Mansion

When you are back in the mansion, do the few objectives of Talking to Storm and Wolverine about your progress down in the Danger Room. When you accept to train, you will play through the most of the first mission again but this time as Alison instead of Wolverine. When you defeat Blob, the mission will end and Alison will be part of the X-men team. When you are back up in your room, head down to the War room and start the next mission.



Mission Five: Nuke Plant

Make your way forward, through the door and talk to the lab tech. He will tell you that a metal man was there at the core. After the tech leaves continue forward and around the walkway to the other side. Take out the enemies inside there and make your way to the right. Go through the door there and it will lead to the Turbine Facility. Save at the extraction point there and then head forward across the catwalk bridge. Continue around through the rooms and you will come to a broken bridge. Have iceman create a new one and head across to go through the door. When you go through, there will be electrical bolts on the right side. Run across when the electricity is down below the walkway and then head right.



Use the panel there and the green barrier at the other end will lower. Go through it and through the door there to run across a long catwalk bridge. Go through the door at the end and make a left around to enter the reactor core. Follow the walkway around to the left and then right, across the bridge. Talk to the lab tech there and he will tell you that you need to turn off the valves to save the plant from blowing up. Once you agree, continue across the bridge and you will come to battle with some Acolytes. Take them down and use the control panel on the far left to bring down the green barrier. Go around to the door it was blocking and go through to the coolant pumps.

Save at the extraction point on the left and continue forward and then to the right. Takeout the acolytes there and go around the corner on the left. Continue around the next left corner and go down the stairs. Head up the other side and continue to the next hallway and make a right. Kill the enemies here and you will come to a broken bridge on the right. Have iceman fix it and then you can head across to the other side where there will be two pumps to turn on. Turn them on and head back across the bridge and down the hall to the control panel. Use it to open the green barrier there and you will be back at the start. From here go left and follow the walkway until you reach another broken bridge on the left. Have Iceman fix it again and turn on the pumps there. When they are running, all four will be on and you can return to the reactor core.



As soon as you enter the reactor core, you can walk a few steps forward to the control panel there and raise the coolant level. When you do, a scene will show you a door open. Head back down the stairs and to the right of where you entered. Across from the lift will be the open door that leads to the Conversion Sequencer. Enter and hop on the lift that is right in front of you. Ride it down and follow the catwalk along to get a scene with Colossus. After he talks, continue along the catwalk and make a right. Head down the stairs to the switch there and flip it to turn off the fire. Head back up the stairs and up the next set to the door at the top. Go through to reach the secondary Control room.



Save at the Extraction point and a timer with 19:00 will appear. Make your way down the stairs and up the other side to engage some Acolyte another other side of the broken bridge. Have iceman fix it and then run across. Take them all down and continue to the right and up a flight of stairs. Enter the room at the top and in the adjoining room will be a control panel and a lab tech. Use the panel to lower a green barrier and the lab tech will inform you of an ambush by the brotherhood. Head back out and down the stairs and around to the right and some Acolytes will be waiting in front of where the green barrier was. Take them down and then enter the door there.



Follow the door through to a walkway and take the stairs on the right down. Continue to follow them around fighting the acolytes as they approach. Follow the stairs up and to the right. There will be a door on the left with flames in front of it and a set of stairs leading down to a control panel. Use the control panel at the bottom of the stairs and then head through the door on the left. When you enter, there will be a control panel to the left just ahead of you and a door on the right. Use the control panel and it will open a few large doors. Go to the one on the right that opens and have Cyclops weld the arm on the machine above Colossus. Head out the door on the right and follow the corridor to the next large open door that will allow you to weld the arm on the other side. When both sides are on, the mission ends.

Mission Six: Muir Island

After the opening scene, you need to find Forge in his workshop. Head out to the right, and follow the walkway around the room. The first door will have Cyclops talking to Havok about meeting up. After you talk to him, continue to the next door and you will find Forge there. After the talk you will enter com center to help save Illyana. Go around to the left when you enter and use the system monitor in the center. When it doesn’t work, punch through the glass in the center behind it and take out everyone that is in there. Head to the far right and use the bridge controls and ride up. Use the main control there and head back to the alignment consoles on the left and right side on the lower level. Go through the sliding door at the top and go down the stairs in the center. Go to each panel on the left and right and then go back to the main control where you took the bridge up to finish the mission.



X-Mansion

Take a walk around the mansion and stop to talk to Emma frost in the backyard near the rear doors. After you talk to her, she will then be a select able team member. Continue into the mansion and have a talk with all the x-men you find for some juicy info on their pasts. When you are ready, head to the war room in the Subbasement and a scene will play with Jean and the professor. It seems that some of the GSRO soldiers are snooping around the mansion grounds using a cloaking device. The next mission starts here and you will be outside to deal with them.



Mission Seven: GSRO Soldiers

This is pretty much the easiest mission so far. All you need to do is defeat 10 GSRO soldiers in the back yard and then head through the opening to the left of the mansion to enter the front yard. When you reach the front, kill the 12 remaining GSRO soldiers there and the mission will end. There is plenty of health and energy scattered around the yards and make sure you take a team of physical powerhouses to deal out the damage. Once all the enemies have been cleared from the front and back, you will be told to head back inside.



X-Mansion

When you are back inside the mansion, you can either head directly to the war room to start the next mission or explore the mansion and talk to the rest of the team scattered about. Also before hitting the war room, you can go to Cerebro and talk to Jean Grey about the Astral Plane. Enter the war room when you are done your exploring and you will have the choice of which mission to choose from the Astral Plane or Weapon X.



Mission Eight: Weapon X

After the scene with Cyclops and the professor, you are in the Weapon X facility alone as Cyclops. As soon as you are in control, head left and then through the room attacking the drones there with your eye beam. Continue to the end of the corridor and there will be an extraction point on the left through a doorway. Save there and jump through the opening into the next room. Make a left and follow the doorway through the next room and continue to the large set of doors. Go through them and continue to the right and face off against the patrol drones there. Exit the room into the hallway and continue to the next door. Make your way to the right and smash through the glass.



Head up the stairs on the right side of the room to the far end and jump across the gap in the center to the other side. Fire a beam at the machinery there and then go through the door to the adjoining room. Grab the XP in there to get a full level. Head back out and through the glass and out to the hallway. Make a right to the door at the end of the hall there and enter the Lab Support Ruins. Make your way forward and to the left. Enter the door there and make a right to run into Havok. After the chat you will need to chase him onto the next room and lay the smack down on him with physical attacks. When he drops, another scene will play and Wolverine will enter. Now that you have the two in tow, you need to explore the rest of the facility.



Head up the stairs on the right and step on the left there. When the next area loads, head forward and around the corridor to the next few doors. Attack the GSRO Soldiers that appear and continue going past a blue barrier on the right until you can go down some stairs and go to the right. Go down and up the other side and you will run into a few more GSRO enemies including a Commander who will mess you up in no time if he hits you with his rifle. Take him down with punches and kicks and slashes from Wolverine. When they are down, continue to the next room and there will be a few more to handle. When they are done, go through the door at the far end of the room and use the control panel in there.



Press it and the blue barrier will drop. Attack the commander that appears on the right and grab NightCrawler’s Danger room disk there as well. Head back out and go to where the blue barrier was on the other side of the room and take out the officer and drone in there. Go to the right and go through the door to the D Block Ruins. Enter and take down the GSRO that run to greet you and move forward. Continue to the left and around through the door and to the right. Take out all the enemies here and an officer will drop the proximity Keycard for you to pick up. Grab the danger room disk in the next room and head through back and through the door. Run down the hallway and into the door on the left before the jet of flame appears.

Take out the officer there and then smash through the wall to get to the next room. Follow it around to the right and pass the blue barrier and go down the next corridor to the door at the end. Enter the room there and again follow it around through each doorway until you come to a room with stairs and some drones. When they are dead, head to the right side and a scene will play with a Lab Tech. He will show you the Astral Gate after some sweet talking from you and then a soldier will attack. Take him out and head up the stairs behind you and through the door to the holding cells.



When you enter them, head for the extraction point and save. Defeat the soldiers here and head up the right side to the dead end. Blow a hole through the left wall and then go through the door on the right. Follow the corridor along and then to the right and you will get a new objective of opening the cells and freeing the prisoners. Defeat the enemies here and follow the hallway to the end where the stairs are. Follow them up and continue to kill the soldiers you come across along the catwalk. Head right when you can see the control panel and kill the soldiers there to grab another proximity keycard. Walk over to the left and use the control panel there to open the first cell.



After the scene, head to the right and around the corner to come to the next control panel. Use it and then head to the left towards the door there. After the scene is over, head towards the door and the mission will end and continue straight to the next.

Mission Nine: The Astral Plane

Immediately save at the extraction point on the left. After you level and save, head up the stairs directly ahead of you and run through each green arrow. Jump to the left and to the next platform up until you reach the switch. Pull it and head back down the stairs. Head up the next set directly across from you and have Jean use her power to pull the switch on the other platform. When she does, the door at the bottom will open and allow you to go through. Follow the platforms to the right and head down the stairs there. When you reach the bottom area, a rush of Astral fiends will attack. Keep fighting them until a scene starts to show a control panel appear.



Press it and head through the door and down the spiral stairs. Continue to the next wave of enemies and down the next set of stairs to come to a glowing door that will lead to the chamber of echoes. Go through the door and head to the right and go down the stairs. Fight the fiends there and head to the left and down more stairs until you come to the extraction point there. Go to the right after you save and down the stairs to find danger room disc qualifying exam 300. Head back up and go down the stairs directly across from you. When you reach the bottom, use the professor to jump to the moving platform and the team will separate. Use the lever ahead of you and the team will regroup.



Go through the door on the left and enter The endless Stairs. Head forward and down the stairs and make a right. Follow the corridor around and then go forward through the open area and then to the right through the archway. When you go through you’ll hear the Shadow King talk. Destroy the fiends there and go down the stairs to another moving platform. Go across and use the switch and then make a left to go across another moving platform. Kill the creature there and use the control to open the door and to rejoin the group. Go through the large door and defeat the two astral Wardens there to get a switch to appear to open the door. Use it and go through and continue forward until the scene with the Shadow King starts.



After it is over, you’ll have Emma and Jean only. Head forward and down the stairs on the right. Wade through the fiends that appear and grab the comic there. Head back up and go to the stairs directly across from you. Take out the fiends there and enter the large room. Head through the door on the right and go up the spiral stairs to the creature that spews out little creatures. Take it out or just run up the stairs on the right and enter the next room. Grab the Astral Stone off the ground and save at the extraction point. Head down the stairs and up the next set and then up a spiral set to find Illyana. Take out the fiends here and the two fiend Wardens to rescue her. After they are taken care of, you return to the mansion.

Mission Ten: X-Mansion Front Lawn

After the little chat with Magneto, some pal show up in the form of Sentinels. Join the battle and you will need to drop 12 of them to pass the mission. Use the health that is spread out and the yard and use Wolverine since he can drop one Sentinel in about three hits with his claw attack. Stick near the extraction point so you can save when you have more than a few knocked down, also try to take down ones that already have half the health. If you take a sentinel to almost dead and someone else kills it, it doesn’t count for you. Once you have all 12 dropped, a scene will play and you’ll be back in the mansion.



X-Mansion

Your objectives around the house this time are to talk to Emma and Jean about the astral plane, talk to Wolverine and talk to Cyclops. Do those tasks if you choose or just head straight for the war room to get back to the action.



Mission Eleven: Morlock Tunnels

Head forward across the stone bridge to the center area where Healer and Marrow were earlier. Go to the left side and talk to the Morlock that is going through healer’s things. After you talk to him, you’ll be in search of Marrow. Go back across the bridge to the outside walkway and head to the left around until you hit the door that wall take you to the storm drain. Once you go through, follow the corridor forward and save at the extraction point. Continue down the hall and follow the doors through the only rooms you can enter killing the brutes and Goths along the way. When you come to the water, go across the bridge and grab the sketch book there.



Head back around and follow the water through until you reach the stairs on the right. Head up them and go through the door. Follow the corridor to the end and smash through the wall to continue. Head through the door on the right and across the metal bridge and go left down the next corridor. Fight the Morlocks here and continue through the hallway until you come to the door that leads to the Influent Bypass. Enter there and head around the corner to save at the extraction point. Go through the closed door there and follow the corridor all the way around to the metal bridge. Take out the giants and brutes along the way and cross to the other side. Go left to the door there and before you go through, head to the left to enter a few rooms that will lead to a comic book.

Once you have it, head back out and go through the door there to have a scene. After the scene plays, you’ll see the lever on the lower level you need to get to. Head around the walkway to the far side and down the stairs there and fight the swarm of Morlocks. When they are toast, go to the lever and pull it to open the door. Head back up the stairs and go to the left. Follow the walkway around to the now open door and enter the Wastewater Basin. Enter and head forward through the door to face some more giants. Take them down and go through the next door. Continue going straight to the far end and go through the door there as well. Follow the next room around to the left and proceed through the next.



Run across the bridge there and when you get to the other side there will be a large door on the right that you can’t open yet. Go through the small door and save at the extraction point there. Use the lever at the green arrow and the door in the previous room will open. Go back out and through and enter the Overflow reservoir. Head forward and then up the hallway on the left. Enter the small room there and grab the colossus Danger Room disc. Continue up the hallway and across the bridge and face a large wave of enemies. When they are toast, head through the door and follow the corridor around and enter the room at the end. In the center of the room down the stairs will be the Healer.



Talk to him and he will tell you to find a mechanism that will open the door. Head up the next set of stairs and follow the corridor around to the room at the end. Inside will be the lever to pull and it will open Healers cage. Head back there and talk to him. When he’s done, go through the door that opened at the top of the stairs and talk to Gateway. When he’s done not talking, step through the portal. When you do, you will be transported to the equator. Start exploring and you will run into some Acolytes. Head up the ramp on the right to save at the extraction point. Head back down when they are defeated and continue up along the lava on the left. Grab the Magma Danger Room disc at the very far end. Head across the stones on the left side and grab the sketch book there.



Make your way up the ramp to the control panel at the top and press the switch to open the large door. Head back down the ramp and across the stones to go through the large door there to the Transport Conduit. Walk forward across the bridge and you will run into Sabretooth and Avalanche. After their little chat, you will be in a battle with them. Ignore Sabretooth and have Cyclops attack Avalanche from a distance with his beam non-stop. After quite a few hits, he will fall and a scene will play to show the two enemies running away to end the mission.

X-Mansion

Your objectives around the house this time are to simply explore the mansion and then head to the war room. Explore all you like and when you are ready for the next mission head to the war room to get briefed on the next mission. When you get briefed, you will have the choice of three missions. Stopping the riots, defending the Morlocks and defeating the Juggernaut. The choice is yours what to pick but lets go in order and stop the riots first.



Mission Twelve: Stop the Riots

Pick your team and you’ll be dropped off in New York City. Save at the extraction point and your objectives will be updated. Now you need to defeat nine Sentinels and save 3 mutants. Run around the streets and the Sentinels will make themselves present for you to defeat. Make sure you attack them from behind and don’t get caught with their tracking beam or their grenades they toss out. For the three mutants you need to save, look for the yellow x’s on the map and have them follow you to the ambulance which is just to the left of where you started, facing the x-jet. Once you have all nine sentinels defeated and all three mutants saved, you will then proceed to the next street.



Head up the left hand street and at end you can reach Fourth Street. You can also grab a danger room disc from the alley on the right. Once you enter the next area, your mission will be to save 4 mutants and defeat 11 sentinels. Repeat the same thing from the previous area and you’ll run into Psylocke at the end of the street. Defeat the sentinels there and you will have a scene will Psylocke afterwards. When all the objectives are completed, move onto Fifth Street and you’ll fight a Sentinel weapons platform right off the bat. Defeat it and save at the extraction point. Now you need to defeat 10 more Sentinels and save 5 more mutants. Once that is all said and done, guess what’s next? That’s right! On to 6th street to save 6 mutants and destroy 15 sentinels. Once they are all finally destroyed the mission will actually end.



Mission Thirteen: Juggernaut

Follow Juggernaut around the Muir Island base and keep attacking him until he falls. Easy as pie mission especially compared to the previous one. After he is taken down, talk to Forge, Moira and then leave through the door to start the Morlock mission.

Mission Fourteen: GRSO Sewer Raid

Head forward after talking to Healer and make a right to reach the extraction point there. Finally save your game and enter the next room on the left. Slash the ladder there and kill the enemies in the room. Now you will be told that there are 3 more ladders and 4 beacons to take care of. Head back to the extraction point and go straight to find a beacon and a few enemies. Continue through the area and there will be more than a few places where you need to pull a lever to open a door to get to the next area. At these places the doors are usually fences that you can attack the enemies through without even getting hit yourself.



Move around through the corridor in the simple path and destroy each ladder and generator that you come across. There really is only one path to go so follow it and you will come to a door that leads to the Grit Overflow. When you enter that, you will have 4 more ladders and beacons to destroy. Just repeat the same process through here, following the yellow x’s and you will eventually come to a door that leads to the next area called Sedimentary. When you enter the area, your objectives will be updated with, you guessed it, destroy 4 more ladders and 4 more beacons. When you get to the end of this area go through the door and you will run into healer. Talk to him and then enter the Dechlorination area.



When you enter, you’ll be face to face with everyone favorite psychotic female, Marrow. A word of warning before you start this battle, this is probably the most difficult boss battle so far of the game. There is a lieutenant that appears in the corners to revive Marrow and her Leviathans when they go down. You need to take out the Lieutenant as soon as she appears and then focus on the Leviathans and then Marrow. There will be 4 Lieutenants that appear, starting from the far left corner across from where you enter and then going clockwise from there each time Marrow falls. If you do not kill the Lieutenant before she disappears, which is pretty quick, you will have to fight her again and again until you finish her off. The best tactic is to have iceman freeze her and then go all out on her, either that or have one of the melee attackers release an Xtreme move on her. If you get them all down the first time they appear, then after facing Marrow the fifth time, she’ll stay down for good.
