Chapter IX

Secret – Early on, there will be a short and precarious bridge of planks, only a few steps across. The secret is in a wooden crate immediately on the other side.

Secret – You will reach a drawbridge that needs to be lowered. Ray opts to let Thomas do the climbing. Without the bridge, Ray’s platform is a dead end. At the end, the secret is tucked between two barrels.

Secret – After the drawbridge, you will reach a door with a Cooperative Concentration. While outside, there is a secret in the adjacent mine cart.

Secret – Turn right upon exiting the second mine, instead of heading to the elevator. The secret is at the edge of the cliff, poking out from behind the supply crate.

Achievement #24 Quite a Ride – There won’t be items thrown at you, so much as barrels of explosives rolled down onto you. You can prepare by reloading your pistols, facing the cliff-wall, and looking slightly up. There will be an initial explosion to let you know that the sequence is beginning. There are only a handful of barrels and their trajectories are predictable.

Secret – When the elevator reaches the bottom, Will cowers down directly in front of a chest.

Achievement #3 Act III

Chapter X

Who knew that there could be such a fine Weapon Store in the middle of nowhere? Superb Volcano guns come highly recommended for both characters.

Secret – You will spot an Indian above an archway. The path will turn and slope around a rock. About halfway down the slope, keep a lookout on the left side of the path for the broken remains of a wagon. The secret is in a black case.

Secret – The wagon gets stuck and Indians attack from the ridge above. Your objective is to go around the rock and flank them from behind. When you reach the ridge, turn left to find a basket and the secret.

Secret – Also while the wagon is stuck, there is a small brown tent next to the waterfall, and a chest beside it.

Secret – At the second river, sticking to the left leads you to a canoe and the secret. On a tactical not, the right side is preferable for a flanking attack.

Secret – After the second river-crossing, you reach an incredibly deep canyon cutting the mountain in half. Pass below the arch, next to the boulder, and the fallen tree to the right. Behind the next patch of tall grass is a corpse and the secret.

Chapter XI

Secret – Cross the low-fencing into the Navajo village and stop at the teepee and loom on your left. A chest is behind the loom.

Secret – You battle up the Path of the Dead only to have the bridge cut down. Facing the bridge, turn left to see a ladder rising to a platform with a corpse. Of course, the secret is on the body.

Secret – Help your brother push the tree to make a bridge. The slope on the other side will turn right, toward the river. Don’t turn. Go straight, over the rise, to find a canoe, corpse, and secret clustered together.

Secret – (See Below)

Secret – On the final stretch to the top of the dam, Ray points out the similarities between the shacks here and those at Devlin’s mine. Both of the wooden shelters at this point hold chests. Achievement #25 Rowing Race Cheater – Steal the medallion and head to the canoe. There will only be four enemy canoes, with three Navajo per canoe. Two appear from the front/left, and the other two from the rear.

Chapter XII

This is one small stage, but packed to capacity with Barnsby’s soldiers. The goal here is not necessarily to progress, but to survive. In general, stay with the teepees and totems and you won’t receive an automatic failure.

Achievement #26 Man of the Hood – You must commit to this achievement from the beginning. The hardest part is rationing out your arrows. Trust me, you don’t want to get stuck shooting, pulling, and reusing the last arrow again and again (how morbid). It’s not heroic, but let Ray do most of the work. You can’t be completely useless though, or Ray will die. It’s a fine balance to strike. More arrows can be found on a stack of crates near the center of the village, and leaning against the last teepee on the left while retreating.

Secret – From the starting position, there is an open basket next to the first tent on the right.

Secret – From the starting position, move to the teepee directly ahead to the right of the path. Look for an open basket behind two closed baskets.

Secret – From the starting position, there is a basket on the far left, next to the red tent and totem pole.

Secret – You and your brother make a classy plan to drop some rocks on the canons. On the way to the mountain path is a lone, red teepee. Look inside the open basket.

Secret – On the way to drop the rocks on the canons, stop at the red totem. Look left to see three corpses on raised platforms. The secret is in a basket, beneath the furthest platform.

Chapter XIII

Leave it to a creep like Barnsby to pick a ghost town for a showdown.

Secret – Before Shoes & Boots, where O’Donnell’s voice seems to be coming from, is a bank with two safes sitting outside. Look inside the safe on the boardwalk.

Secret – The second house to inspect has an extension on the side, facing the three horses. There is a chest clustered with a crate and barrel next to the extension.

Achievement #33 Fireworks – This Achievement should be performed with Thomas, since Ray is the one trying to dodge the dynamite below. Outside the saloon, follow the objective-markers and grab a vantage point from the second floor of the opposite building. Don’t shoot anyone yet though. There will be two soldiers throwing dynamite. Watch their throws and line up the dynamite like skeet shooting.

Secret – Inside the saloon, on the first floor, turn right and locate a chest in the far corner by the windows.

Secret – After Seeing Farther’s tragic end, head to the barn where his cowardly murderer ran. There is a chest buried in the fog at the back door.

Secret – There is a chest on the right, outer side of the church. Watch out for the gatling gun.

Achievement #4 Act IV

Chapter XIV

Unlike character selection in other chapters, you must complete this chapter with both Thomas and Ray to proceed to the final showdown. Each character has separate Secrets to collect.

Secret (Thomas) – Climb the fort wall and sprint along the walkway, counterclockwise, around the corner to find the chest. Finish your objective in the barn before proceeding, or you will be covering the same ground twice.

Secret (Thomas) – Enter the barn and look for a chest behind the main door.

Secret (Thomas) – There are rooms built into the walls on two sides of the fort. Going clockwise from the barn to the horse, enter the fourth doorway (third if you missed the first one obscured by the tent) to find a chest.

Secret (Thomas) – Moving along the fort-walls, counter-clockwise from the barn, enter the fourth doorway. There is a chest between the center arches in the room.

Secret (Thomas) – Moving along the fort-walls, counter-clockwise from the barn (continuation of previous secret), stop at the last window to find a chest. Grab the horse afterwards.

Secret (Ray) – You save Will. Turn right after the second doorway (other way is a glorified dead end). There is a chest behind the crates.

Secret (Ray) – Shortly after saving Will, but still in the basement, climb a half-set of stairs to a room with numerous pillars and arched ceilings. There is a chest next to a metal gate on the left side of the room.

Secret (Ray) – You exit the basement and emerge in a courtyard with a pavilion. The chest is in the first floor corner, beyond the stairs.

Secret (Ray) – In the room with bear-skin decorations on the wall, turn right and look for a chest in the corner behind the steps.

Secret (Ray) – Will leads you to a drainage grate that deposits you in a flooded cellar. Next to the three disheveled wine racks is a chest on a crate.

Chapter XV You’ve made it this far, but do you have what it takes to defeat Barnsby? ( http://www.youtube.com/user/GameSharkVideos#play/uploads/0/p0Vttf4lJns . )

*Hint* You can skip the duel if you do enough damage to him in the main battle, not that I need to. I can clear leather faster than a hummingbird at high noon.
