Based on the new animated series on Cartoon Network, Masters of the Universe is a third-person action adventure that puts players in the role of He-Man, the Most Powerful Man in the Universe as he beats up Skeletor, Beast Man and a whole lot of other bad guys. Having tricked He-Man into leaving the place unattended, Skeletor mounts a massive offensive against Castle Greyskull. In order to defend herself from the attack, the sorceress has to call upon all the power at her disposal, including "The Power," which is what gives He-Man his strength. Gameplay is broken up into two specific parts: 22 of the game's 34 levels are played on foot, the other 12 allow you to ride on the back of BattleCat.
