PS2 Goes Pink

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced the expansion of the PlayStation 2 line-up in Europe with the introduction of a new color: Pink. The new, limited edition Pink PlayStation 2 will be available from select retailers throughout Europe from November 8th and will come complete with two Pink Analog Controller (DUALSHOCK 2) and a Pink Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2). The new Pink PlayStation 2 will make its debut European appearance on the Sony Computer Entertainment Stand at Games Convention, Leipzig, 23 – 27th August 2006. Since its European launch in November 2000, sales of the PlayStation 2 console to consumers in the SCEE territories have reached almost 40 million units.
