Square Enix announced today that VALKYRIE PROFILE 2: SILMERIA for the PlayStation 2 has shipped to retailers across the nation. The latest entry in the VALKYRIE PROFILE franchise builds on the success of VALKYRIE PROFILE: LENNETH for the PSP, giving players a prequel storyline that takes place before the events of Lenneth.

Created by tri-Ace, VALKYRIE PROFILE 2: SILMERIA draws inspiration from the very core of the franchise: a unique combat system, a sweeping score, a unique story with ties to Norse mythology and slick visuals that push the system's hardware to its limits. New enhancements to the classic 2D formula add dimension and depth to one of the most beloved RPG franchises of all time. You can learn more about the game by checking out na.square-enix.com .
