Konami Digital Entertainment announced today that it plans to host the first ever Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol event at the Northshore Mall in Peabody, Massachusetts. The public is invited to compete to become the world's first virtual American Idol videogame contest winner. This will be the first of many events as Konami Digital Entertainment takes its game Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol for PlayStation 2 on the road to malls across the country in search of the grand prize winner. The Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Contest will be at the Northshore Mall in Peabody, Mass. on Saturday, November 11th. The grand-prize winner, to be announced on January 2, 2007, will win a trip to see a live taping of the American Idol television show in Hollywood, Calif.
