Codemasters announced today a new game for the Wii, PSP, and PS2 called Heatseeker. Heatseeker is an air combat game that uses a unique Impact Cam to enable players to get up-close-and-personal with their kills in bullet-time. This special game features lets players lock-on to a target, fire and see a cinematic, flyby camera shot of the enemy disintegrating into flaming pieces of junk.

Throughout the game players will face an insurmountable number of enemy air, land and sea defenses, all with a weak spot for an explosive payload. Heatseeker's terrains will deform, blacken and ultimately fall apart as missile after missile detonates with laser guided accuracy. Heatseeker is planned to launch for the Wii, PlayStation 2 system and PSP system in spring 2007, and is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB. You can learn more about the game by visiting www.codemasters.com/heatseeker .
