Chocobo Racing!

This week will see the launch of Chocobo Racing in Square Enix's MMOG, Final Fantasy XI Online. The version update scheduled for Thursday, March 29th will finally unlock the exciting world of chocobo racing, allowing players across the globe to test their chocobo's abilities on the racetrack against some of Vana'diel's most skilled riders. Chocobo Racing in the game will be released in phases, with the initial phase followed by content updates this summer (PVP races, betting), in the fall (official races and practice races) and in 2008 (the final official races).
