Author: James Fudge

Sony Online Entertainment announced today that it will once again expand the PS2 MMORPG, EverQuest Online Adventures. The adventure will continue for players with the introduction of The Storyteller, Improvements to Zaoran Plateau and Plane of Disease and the launch of the EQOA Hall of Fame. The EQOA Storyteller is an old adventurer who recounts the trials and tribulations of his youth. No longer able to crawl the dungeons of Norrath himself, the Storyteller is rumored to be using his hoard of treasures to lure explorers from far away lands to share their own stories in exchange for his riches. Players level 20 and up can complete this new quest content, earn rewards and share their own tales of battle and expedition. In return for their chronicles, the Storyteller offers faction points which can be saved to spend on treasure.

Other new goodies include tank armor class stats for the Zaoran Plateauas well as durability upgrades and the armor insignia quests; Plane of Disease (PoD) enhancements including a faster re-spawn of common named NPCs and a rare chance at the new PoD ability quest pieces; longer spawns for the Plane of Sky, dropping four items instead of one; plenty of tweaks and refinements to the game and the new EQOA Hall of Fame.
