Backyard Football 08 Cover Star
Tom Brady to don the packaging for this popular kids sports title.
Date: Thursday, August 09, 2007
Author: James Fudge

Humongous announced today that Tom Brady, New England Patriots all-star quarterback and two-time Super Bowl MVP, will be the cover athlete for Backyard Football '08, the newest iteration of the best-selling kid's football game franchise. Brady was overwhelmingly voted "favorite NFL player" in a poll of Backyard Sports fans conducted late last year on backyardsports.com.

Backyard Football combines wild and whacky sports scenarios with realistic plays and strategies to give young fans a "kidified" football gaming experience. Featuring top NFL pros as kids (including Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Vince Young, Brian Urlacher, and others), Backyard Football lets young fans choose the style, location, pace, and strategy of the game. And multiple levels makes this game easy enough for rookies with mega challenging levels for seasoned veterans. Rated "E" (everyone) by ESRB, Backyard Football '08 will be available in September on PlayStation 2, Windows PC, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii.
