Sales figures for the holiday shopping season released today by Sony showed robust sales of the PS3, PSP and PS2 in North America. during the November 23rd - December 30th, 2007 sales season the PS3 sold 1.2 million units in North America, while the PSP sold 1.4 million and the PS2 moved 1.2 million units.
An announcement by Warner Bros. Entertainment throwing its support behind the Blu-Ray format probably will help sales of the PS3 in the future. And on a related note Sony announced that the PSP supports Skype calls. Using the Skype service, a software upgrade and the latest version of the PSP users will be able to call other Skype users for free.
