Date: Thursday, September 01, 2011
Author: James Fudge

Halfbrick's Jetpack Joyride is now available iOS platforms and has been selected by Apple as its Game of the Week. Jetpack Joyride features hero Barry Steakfries, who captured hearts in previous Halfbrick mobile games, Age of Zombies and Monster Dash.

In his new adventure Harry discovers a "secret" evil laboratory filled with jetpacks and mysterious obstacles. He commandeers the technology and attempts to escape the maximum-security lab. To do this, players must dodge obstacles, collect coins and pilot crazy vehicles in pursuit of the high score, tracked on global online leaderboards. Players looking to take the top spot can customize and upgrade Barry's gear with the crazy technology, like coin magnets, score boosting bombs and a Shark Head jetpack.

To download Jetpack Joyride on iOS devices, check out the official iTunes information page . The game is available for download on iOS platforms (iPhone and iPad) for $0.99 from the App Store.
