Swedish Invasion Planned for GDC
Nine companies from Sweden to take up space at GDC in the Nordic Pavilion.

Nine of the most powerful companies in the Swedish game development scene are going to occupy the Game Developers Conference in March. The companies will exhibit as a block in a 900 square foot booth, dubbed the Nordic Pavilion (booth #1824 in San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center), from March 5-9, 2012. The exhibition floor will be open to visitors on Wednesday, March 7 from 9:00am-6:00pm; on Thursday, March 8 from 9:00am-6:00pm; and on Friday, March 9 - 9:00am-3:00pm.

The Nordic Pavilion is a collaboration of the Swedish Trade Council, the Swedish Computer Game Industry, The Consulate General of Sweden in San Francisco, and computer game industry associations from Finland, Norway, and Denmark.

Swedish companies exhibiting in the Nordic Pavilion include Just Cause creators Avalanche Studios w, Ubisoft studio Massive, Battlefield makers DICE, game development tool makers Donya Labs and Hansoft, University of Skövde, locilzation firm Localize Direct, TeliaSonera, and Imagination Studios.
