Having blown through all the demo missions several times and fiddled with every possible Wanzer configuration in the brief configuration segments available, I have to say that I am sincerely looking forward to Front Mission 4 more than ever. Fans of FM3 should not hesitate to get their pre-orders, and newcomers to the series will definitely want to take a look at this fascinating upcoming turn-based strategy title. With a storyline that looks like it may be pretty strong after all, as well as all the gritty hardcore robot action any mecha fan would expect out of a game like this, I can’t really see Front Mission 4 going wrong. Already out in Japan, FM4 is expected to make a North American release this coming June, as well as benefit from a dedicated online-only version due sometime thereafter. Keep that PS2 warmed up.
