Any full price I can battle through in a single sitting is bound to be pretty short. And I polished off Rising Sun in an evening, albeit a long evening packed with pizza and strong coffee. It's not truly awful, but dull competency is not worth your money when there are some fabulous titles vying for your hard earned cash on the shelves at this time of year.
