Champions: Return To Arms Review
11 out of 15
SOE's second title in the popular action RPG franchise for the PS2 offers familiar gameplay and new features that some fans will love.

Ultimately Champions: Return to Arms is old hat and new hat. There's a whole new story, working multiplayer, thousands of new items, new mini-games and sidequests, new classes to play, and the ability to play evil and good plot paths. On the other side of the coin is gameplay that most of us have seen before, following the same formula, and not taking any real chances in the process. Fans of Champions of Norrath would do well to pick this title up, and gamers that are completely burned out on CON should probably look elsewhere it's just that simple. And baby, if you're reading this, please don't ask me if you can play – it'll ruin the spiderweb of deceit it's taken me five years to weave – just pretend that I really am just too busy to watch While You Were Out, Celebrity Fit Club or anything on Lifetime with you tonight
