Beatdown: Fist of Vengeance Review
10 out of 10
Capcom's RPG flavored brawler is a good game with a lot to offer fight fans.

Rating

Beatdown is rated M for mature. The game itself contains images of blood, strong language , and violence. It is meant for audiences 17 and older. It can easily be calmed down by turning the blood and bruising off for both male and female characters, but obviously anyone that plays this kind of game won't be doing that.. at least the option is there if you are a parent who doesn't approve of such content..

Final Verdict

Beatdown is a solid fighting themed action role-playing game brought down a notch by too much area transition loading and some limited promised features (like the ability to interrogate every character in the game). To its credit, the game looks good, offers a lot of hardcore fighting action, and features a moderately compelling - if not predictable - storyline. If you're a fan of games like Square Enix's The Bouncer or fighting games in general than you can't go wrong with Beatdown.
