The Games You (Most Likely) Won’t Play in 2008
Our resident crank, Mr. Binky, peers into his tongue-in-cheek crystal ball and reveals the games that will slip and miss their 2008 calendar release date. Probably. Maybe.

Honestly, there’s no reason to believe that it won’t ship this year, it would just make the soap opera that is this game a lot more interesting if it didn’t.

Project H.A.M.M.E.R. – Wii

More like Project C.A.N.C.E.L.L.E.D. unless you know something I don’t. It’s doubtful. I know tons. Tons.

Oblivion – PSP

Oblivion for the PSP is the frumious Bandersnatch of gaming, popping in and out of reality only to tease gamers looking to travel Cyrodill on their PSP. The real question isn’t whether or not the game will come out this year, but whether or not any of the game’s levels will load up within a calendar year. For the record, the answer to both questions is “not bloody likely”. That’s British for “no”.

Home - PS3

You may see some version of Sony’s online initiative this year, but it won’t be the full featured Live killer that Sony has been touting for almost a year now. No doubt it’s because Sony hasn’t figured out how to provide full online system integration without asking people to, you know, pay for it. It’s only a matter of time before Sony figures out how to pay for the whole thing with online advertising and you’ll be showing off your trophies from Ratchet and Clank Future 2: We Love Cheez-Its.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl – Wii

OK, yeah, this one's a stretch and is more out of bitterness than anything else. Pikachu and I should have been raining electric fire down on all that oppose us by now. If this game doesn’t come out in March, I may have to make myself an electric hamster costume, and nobody wants that.
