League and Tourney Questions:

Patrick, thanks a lot for taking the time again to answer some of these questions from the community. They're a dedicated lot. So let's get right to it. Campaign/Season Length: How many seasons can you play with a team? Do leagues have a definite end point or can we just keep going and going?

There are no time limits so you can play an infinite number of seasons in theory.

Can you take your offline/solo league team and use them in a multiplayer league or do you have to make a new squad when entering a new league?

Yes and no.

Yes, you can create a solo team, play with it alone and export it for the multiplayer.

No because you won’t be able to participate in online leagues for obvious security reasons. It would be too easy to boost your solo team artificially (cheating). So we will only allow teams specifically set-up on our servers to be used in online leagues.

It’s been reported that there is no “hot seat” league capability in Blood Bowl? Is this true?

Yes indeed. We had to make choices unfortunately and developing a additional mode was just too much. Therefore, leagues are limited to solo and online.

During a season or tourney can you switch back and forth between real-time and turn-based? Meaning if I play a game in real-time and both coaches want to play the next one turn-based, can we do that or is the rule set in stone once the league starts?

No it won’t be possible. The two modes don’t work exactly the same way so allowing players to switch back and forth would have created major balance issues. You can still use your team in any mode for friendly games though.
