Square Enix announced today that the portable version of Valkyrie Profile, VALKYRIE PROFILE: LENNETH for the PSP, is getting rave reviews from the media. According to GameRankings.com, the game has garnered an 81 percent overall ranking according to 15 reviews. The game has certainly garnered some interesting scores including 90 percent from on top media outlet and an average of 80 percent from 11 media outlets.

Developed by the minds behind such hit franchises as Star Ocean and Radiata Stories, VALKYRIE PROFILE: LENNETH is a re-release of the PlayStation original, completely remastered for the PSP. The game contains new features and bonus content to satisfy new and returning fans. In this tale of life and death, every move plays a crucial role in determining the outcome in the ultimate battle of good and evil. Throughout the course of the adventure, players will travel across foreign lands, engage in battles with supernatural forces and encounter a varied cast of tragedy-stricken characters. A non-linear structure ensures that no two adventures are the same.

Key features include special enhancements that take advantage of the PSP system's capabilities like true 16:9 support and new CG sequences, a time-based story progression system that delivers a non-linear experience, 24 unique characters with deep levels of customization and multiple endings that are revealed based on gameplay decisions.
