Lara Croft makers buy multiple companies to expand its business.

Eidos Interactive has reached an agreement to acquire the business of Morpheme Wireless Limited. Expanding Eidos' New Media division, the deal will see Eidos employ Morpheme's eight members of staff and acquire the assets of the North London based company. Morpheme is a BAFTA and Develop award winning developer of mobile and casual PC games, having already successfully developed a number of titles for Eidos New Media including; Hitman on mobile phone and Prism: Light the Way on mobile phone and PC download. The acquisition of the Morpheme business follows the recent acquisitions of mobile development and content providers specialist Rockpool Games and online distribution specialist, Bluefish Media. These acquisitions support the Group's strategy of expanding its profitable New Media division in order to capitalise on the rapidly growing market.
