D2C Games announced today that it has partnered with comic and film luminaries, RAW Studios, to bring independent comic properties to audiences as downloadable digital video comics under its new studio, D2 Comics. RAW Studios, founded by actor Thomas Jane (The Punisher, The Mist, The Mutant Chronicles) and in partnership with graphic novelist Steve Niles (30 Days of Night, City of Others, Criminal Macabre) and Eisner Award nominated illustrator Tim Bradstreet (The Punisher, Hellblazer, Preacher), is bringing feature-rich multimedia versions of its Bad Planet and Alien Pig Farm 3000 franchises as part of the initial launch to PSP, PC, and mobile platforms this fall. The deal also includes a first-look deal to develop games for RAW Studios as well as the rights to digitally distribute the company's films on gaming platforms.
