Atari has officially announced Downstream Panic!, a fast-paced tactical puzzle-action game for the PSP. In Downstream Panic! all the world's fish have been blasted into the Earth's atmosphere by a fierce cyclone. It is up to the player to guide the fish on their earthbound descent using a variety of innovative tools. Of course, there are predators, treacherous landscapes and other impediments vying for your fishy friends as well, and it is your job to protect them from these obtrusive obstacles.

Downstream Panic! promises more than 80 different levels with five different customizable environments. Three different game modes (adventure, free play and survival) bring more of a challenge to the aquatic mix. With more than 10 hours of standard gameplay and downloadable content, Downstream Panic! aims to offer more than just the average PSP system puzzle fare.
