Electronic Arts today announced that THE SIMPSONS AME has shipped in North America and will ship in Europe on November 2nd. Created in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising, Twentieth Century Fox Television and Gracie Films, THE SIMPSONS GAME is an original script created by the TV show's Emmy Award-winning writers and voiced by the original cast from the TV show. The result promises to be the funniest, most irreverent, exciting and authentic Simpsons video game ever. "Our hope is the number of solid jokes and the speed in which they come, set ourselves apart," says James L. Brooks, Executive Producer.

In 2007, The Simpsons celebrated their historic 400th episode, as well as the release of their first animated film, The Simpsons Movie, which has grossed over $520 million worldwide at the box office, hitting the No.1 slot in the first week. Now fans of this multi-award-winning television series are ready for the next major milestone: THE SIMPSONS GAME.

Developed by EA's Redwood Shores Studio, THE SIMPSONS GAME is scheduled for release on the PLAYSTATION 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS. THE SIMPSON GAME has been rated "T" by the ESRB.
