The fantasy footballer now on the handheld.

SouthPeak has confirmed that Blood Bowl for the PSP system is now shipping to store shelves across North, Central and South America. A faithful adaptation of the legendary Games Workshop tabletop game, Blood Bowl was released earlier this year on the Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

Blood Bowl, a hard-hitting turn-based strategy game performed in the style of American football, keeps players on the edges of their seats with each play teetering on the roll of the dice.

Players can utilize the PSP system’s ad-hoc multiplayer mode to crush their rivals until the grass turns red with ferocious custom teams or their choice of classic tabletop-inspired teams. For between-match practice, a huge array of single-player options are also available, including a full-fledged campaign to dominate the Blood Bowl world one cup at a time.
