Aksys Games will release Fate/EXTRA, the RPG based on the anime series Fate/stay night, in North America on November 1. Developed by Japanese RPG developers Imageepoch and TYPE-MOON, Fate/EXTRA will be released for the PSP and offers a new scenario that takes place in the Fate/stay night universe. Fate/EXTRA features a cast of new characters and some fan favorites, a simple battle system, and a story of "destruction, absolution, and deep insight into what it truly means to be human," according to Aksys.

The North American Limited Edition will include some of the same items bundled with the Japanese version such as the special 15-page Fate Visual Works art book and the 11 song Limited Soundtrack. Fate/EXTRA will be released with an MSRP of $39.99 for the Limited Edition, $29.99 for the retail standard edition, and $24.99 for the PlayStation Network version.
