NIS America announced for new titles that it plans to release in North America including a Disgaea 3 re-work for the PS Vita, a Disgaea game for Android devices, a new Hyperdimension Neptunia game, and Acquire's Clan of Champions. Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound for the will be coming to the US this year through GMO GAMECENTER USA and will be playable on Android-based phones. Details on the new title are pretty sparse, but it looks like an Item World crawler featuring various creatures and characters from the long-running SRPG series. Players will be able to purchase extra characters for the game as well as items, features, and more. We'll have to wait to fin out just exactly what this game really offers. The game will be released sometime this fall.

NIS America also announced that Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention is heading to the PlayStation Vita in spring 2012. the re-work of the PS3 title offers all-new characters, stories, and game systems. We assume it will offer all the functionality of the original, along with some of the systems that are currently in Disgaea 4 like improved Magichange and monster fusion, amongst other things. Look for it next spring.

Next up is Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 for the PlayStation 3, which will make it to US shores in spring 2012. Neptunia Mk2 is a sequel to the popular RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia, which allows you to take control of a humanoid version of fantasy game consoles. For Neptunia Mk2 you will once again become a console goddess to protect the land of Gamindustri. The Criminal of the Free World, Arfoire, has defeated the four CPUs of Gamindustri. It is now up to their younger sisters to free them from captivity. Nepgear, the CPU Candidate of Planeptune and younger sister to Neptune, sets out on her quest with IF and Compa to regain Gamindustri’s prosperity, stop the syndicate of evil that Arfoire created, and set her sister free. The sequel promises new and returning characters, a new free-roaming style battle system for more strategic combat, a streamlined combo system that allows faster combo execution, a new item synthesis system to craft items and weapons, and a guild system to take on multiple missions.

Finally, NIS America announced that a new multiplayer action game, Clan of Champions, will be making its way to the West next year. Clan of Champions is being developed by Acquire, best known for its Tenchu series, and will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC - a first for NIA America. Clan of Champions is described as a hardcore multiplayer action game where players choose from 3 different characters - human, elf, or orc - and take on missions, each of which is different in content and length. You can either play by yourself or with other players in co-op mode, and up to 3 players can play simultaneously online. There is also a 3 vs 3 team battle mode where you can fight with, and against, your friends. There will be a large amount of DLC for additional quests, items, and weapons for the future.

Look for the game in 2012.
