F1 2011 Races to Retail
Codemasters' latest in the series promises more nuance, more multiplayer action.

Codemasters' F1 2011 is now available in stores across North America. To coincide with the game’s debut, Codemasters has released a launch trailer showcasing the visual detail of the game in slow-motion. The latest video features key racing moments and gameplay advancements, including a dynamic weather system and the game-changing Safety Car. You can check that out on the company's YouTube Channel . The game is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The PC edition is also available as a digital download from multiple online services. Handheld editions of F1 2011 are also in production for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

F1 2011 promises players "wide-ranging technical and gameplay advancements on and off track" along with extended competitive and co-operative multiplayer components. Players can race against 16 players online plus eight AI cars to simulate a full 24 car grid, team up with a friend to play through a full season in a new co-op Championship mode or play multiplayer racing in split-screen mode. F1 2011 features all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from the 2011 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP as well. The 2011 season also sees the debut of the 2011 FORMULA 1 AIRTEL GRAND PRIX OF INDIA at Delhi’s Buddh International Circuit and the return of the Nürburgring to the calendar.
