Silent Hill Origins Review
13 out of 15
It’s gruesome and disturbing, and that’s exactly why we like it.

Author: Susan Arendt

Unfortunate camera and combat issues aside, Silent Hill Origins is a worthy addition to the series and should scare the socks off even the most jaded survival horror devotee. The visuals are well done, the audio is a dream (play it with your headphones on for best results), and the mysteries of Silent Hill are as fascinating as ever. The game’s multiple endings and unlockables provide ample replay, and its well-portioned sections make it perfectly suited to a portable system. It’s gruesome and disturbing, and that’s exactly why we like it.
