The multiplayer outings from the DS version are all here too, as is the ability to synch up your stats with the Rockstar Social Club. The Social Club has come a long way since the DS version came out and offers up a complete set of maps that are updated automatically as you find dealers and destroy security cameras and also offers a set of minigames that you can play for money, money that can be sent to your character in the game. All of these options are available for DS players as well, however it's a much stronger outing to have all of these extra goodies available from day one, rather than to have them rolled out once you've put the main story to bed as was the case for many of the game's early DS adopters.

Whether you prefer two smaller screens or one bigger one, analog stick or d-pad, DS or PSP, you can't go wrong with Chinatown Wars. While there are differences between the platforms that in some ways benefit each console over the other, the end result is a handheld gaming experience that simply should not be missed. Every mayhem fueled minute you've come to expect from the GTA series is here, and handheld gamers of both platforms are the better for it.
