Beautiful for sure, but there really isn’t much new here in the fifth installment of SEGA's fighting game series that significantly sets apart from previous efforts.
It has a lot of bugs, incredibly high system requirements…and yet there is definitely a draw – there’s no doubt that this game will capture an audience…as soon as Sigil fixes it.
Viewtiful Joe 2 shows that an old genre like the 2D action/adventure/brawler still has a little life left in it when executed with some play-enhancing flair.
This turn-based strategy offering, a remake of sorts of the 2004 game, is a good value at 20 bucks and packs a surprising amount of finger tapping strategy.
