Like Donkey Konga, Taiko Drum Master ultimately suffers from being a one-trick pony that grows a bit boring after playing the included songs enough times. It does make a great party game and striking a drum is an activity that almost anyone can understand and participate in. What does concern me about a game with only limited play value is the premium $59.99 retail price. That is $10 more than Donkey Konga. In the end analysis, it just may not be worth the price to the average player.
