NHL 2K7 Review
11 out of 15
The gameplay is fantastic, let’s just work on the other parts.

The audio is acceptable. If you are a big fan of making your game into a movie, then you’ll appreciate the Cinemotion. As mentioned before, I think it’s one of the worst gimmicks ever, used to try to wean you off the commentary. The play by play could be better – I love the Canadian accents and it feels like I’m watching Hockey Night in Canada – however the comments are repeated and repeated and sometimes lag from the on ice action. Interestingly enough, this is one area where the other game is better.

NHL 2K7 is a very enjoyable hockey game. It has shown many signs of improvement vs last year’s game. There are still things to work on for next year, including better control and the play by play, but this game will definitely keep me busy until next year’s game.
