Along with your puzzling boards, each side chooses a fighter for fun. Included in the roster are such popular Street Fighter characters as Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, and Sakura. In addition are characters from the popular Darkstalkers series like Morrigan, Hsien-Ko, Donovan, and Felicia. These characters appear on the screen and play out the action by throwing fireballs and doing fancy moves that interpret the tug-of-war going on in the puzzle action. It is great fun and something worth experiencing for the first time or again.

While there's no actual internet play in Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, the game does offer ad-hoc play that's pretty fun.

The multiplayer - we use the term loosely here - offers a couple of variations on the single-player mode including one mode that doesn't require special orbs to clear gems and another that sees counter gems to rise up from the bottom of the screen as opposed to the top.

Finally there's a special feature in the Buster Bros. games and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo that allows you to pause the action and take a screenshot that is saved to the memory stick. This JPEG can then be used as a nifty wallpaper for your PSP. Not a dramatic feature but fun and cool nonetheless.

While Capcom Puzzle World doesn't deliver as much gaming goodness as it could, the great implementation of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo on the PSP is really worth the price of admission. If you've played this game before it's worth enjoying again on the PSP, though the multiplayer side of things is a little less than user friendly and easy to set up. At the end of it all, this game collection is worth buying.
