The Sopranos: Road to Respect Review
4 out of 15
The popular HBO series doesn't get the respect it deserves from this game based on it.

Graphically, you can tell who the characters from the series are, but as far as detail and quality goes, they’re poor. And don’t let me get started on the strippers in the Bada Bing, obviously designed to titillate the puberty crowd, but laughable to everyone else (just go get a lap dance in the game to see what I mean). A game released this late in the PS2’s life cycle should have much better visuals, but it’s obvious that this was either a rushed or poorly budgeted cash in.

EA’s The Godfather may not have been perfect, but it took typical gameplay elements, tweaked them in their own way, and made the game compelling in its storyline, graphics, and gameplay. The Sopranos got one out of three, and it isn’t the most important element, which is fun gameplay. This game sleeps with the fishes. - Thomas Gerbasi
