At the end of the day Shrek The Third is what it is - a simple game geared towards kids. The gameplay isn't difficult or all that challenging but it can be entertaining, particularly in the multiplayer modes. If you are gun-shy about movie licensed properties, give it a rental first on your preferred platform and make your decision after some hands on time with the game. Shrek The Third is a safe bet for children 6 and up.
