For those who can adapt to its particular way of doing business, Odin Sphere is a deep and satisfying experience, with gorgeous graphics, memorable characters, and an intriguing, if sometimes a bit confusing, storyline. While some players may ultimately find the combat and inventory limitations to be more than they can bear, Odin Sphere deserves much credit for its artfully elegant approach to a genre that is too frequently weighed down by yawn-inducing cases of déjà vu.
